The New Yorker

This illustration was made for an assignment where I was tasked to conceptualize a cover for a November issue of The New Yorker. I decided to portray Zohran Mumdani after the recent victory in the election for Mayor of New York City. I wanted to portray this as an optimistic moment, with a warm color palette in the shape of the NYC skyline.
